Tablet Weaving Workshop (Adv. Inkle Loom)

Card or tablet weaving is an ancient craft in which simple cards or flat tablets form the working part of the loom. Yarns are threaded through holes in the tablets and the designs or patterns are made by rotating the cards to place threads in different sequences. In this class we will use an inkle loom to provide the working mechanism for the yarn and tablets. Students will make a strong narrow decorative band.

**This class is an advanced inkle loom class. Students should have basic knowledge of how to weave on an inkle loom before taking this class.**
