The One Block Wonder (OBW) is a quilting technique developed by Maxine Rosenthal that uses a single fabric with a large-scale, repeating design to create kaleidoscopic, hexagonal quilt blocks without sewing seams between them. The process involves precisely layering multiple repeats of the fabric, cutting them into 60-degree triangles, and then reassembling these triangles into unique, hexagon-shaped blocks.
