Arrowhead WMA Environmental Education Center

Since 1994 the Arrowhead Environmental Education Center (AEEC) offers programs to allow students of all ages to experience and learn about wildlife and ecology in Georgia. On this field trip, we will learn about and encounter native species on this 337-acre biologically diverse site. We will also take a guided hike through some of the most pristine Georgia lands.

These experiences teach students about the wildlife and ecology of our state and the stewardship of our important natural resources. Lessons are correlated to the Georgia Standards of Excellence.

Cost for this field trip is $5/person and there is a 40-person maximum.

Your spot for this field trip is not reserved until you respond to the “RSVP HERE” post below with the names and ages of everyone in your party and send your full payment to @kayla8knicely on Venmo (if you absolutely cannot do Venmo, please reach out). Fees for field trips with Homeschooling Down South are non-refundable. If you pay your fee and choose not to come, you can give your spots to someone else by sending DM to Homeschooling Down South and including the person you are giving your space to on the thread. If you do not attend and do not pass on your tickets, your ticket money will be donated to the venue. By paying the fee and attending this field trip you are agreeing to adhere to all rules and verbal instructions provided by the venue, and to take responsibility for your own children. The venue and Homeschooling Down South are not responsible for your safety. There may be an additional liability waiver to sign in person upon arrival. Failure to sign will result in your being dismissed from the field trip without a refund. If you arrive late, you may message Homeschooling Down South for instructions to find the group, but it is not guaranteed that your message will be answered.
