A two-day acting workshop for local residents.
ITS TIME TO ACT is a fun and friendly exploration of the art of performance. Participants will work with Caravan Farm Theatre Artistic Director Estelle Shook on fundamentals of acting, focusing on the roles that imagination and presence play in performance (and in life!) IT'S TIME TO ACT is a theatre gymnasium: we will work on our feet, with text and games to stretch and exercise our performance muscles in pursuit of purposeful, impactful experiences onstage and off.
“I love the rehearsal room, and I’ve been lucky and blessed to work with brilliant actors over my thirty year career. They’ve been my greatest teachers. And still, I have so many questions! This workshop is an opportunity for me to dig into the foundational, even metaphysical aspects of performance with local fellow theatre enthusiasts - and have some fun doing so.” - Estelle Shook
