About the event

Quolls on the Northern Tablelands
'The northern tablelands of NSW are a key stronghold for the Nationally endangered spotted-tailed quoll (Dasyurus maculatus)
In collaboration with colleagues and students from UNE, DPIRD and NPWS, Assoc Prof Guy Ballard has studied quolls for more than a decade.
Guy and his colleagues use extensive arrays of camera traps, teamed with cage trapping, to monitor quoll populations in key areas of NSW.
In his talk, Guy will introduce the spotted-tailed quoll, mainland Australia's largest endemic mammal predator, discuss research findings about this incredibly charismatic species and provide tips for all of us to rebuild a quoll-friendly landscape.'
This event will follow the Local Frog presentation by Angus Adair, after a short break for refreshments. Please feel free to come to one or both. We would love to see you.
