This September, young adventurers aged 4 to 12 are invited on a special nature play hike along the scenic Boardwalk Trail. With the theme “Building Future Environment Warriors”, this hands-on experience is all about sparking curiosity, imagination, and a love for the natural world.
Kids will splash through shallow creeks, build leaf boats, spot native wildlife, and discover bushland secrets - all while learning how to care for Country and protect local habitats. Along the way, they’ll enjoy stories, games, and discovery stops led by passionate guides.
We’ll pause for a tasty morning tea at Nature’s Spa, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of flowing water and spring wildflowers in bloom - a perfect moment to soak it all in before the return walk.
This hiking experience is presented in partnership with the City of Armadale, proudly supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) as part of the Spring Steps hiking series - celebrating vibrant, inclusive, and connected WA communities.
