Ten years ago, on a sunny morning in October 2015, Champion Lakes parkrun was born! This wonderful event was brought to life by our visionary first Event Directors, Ann Andersen and Theresa Whyte, along with a bunch of dedicated volunteers. The inaugural event welcomed 84 runners to the starting line, and since then, 4,797 people have joint our community to take part in Champion Lakes parkrun with over 440 people volunteering!
