Winter Wonderland Solstice Party

Join Lauren Kelly, Smokey House Center’s Education Coordinator, and Krissy Kristensen for a joyful celebration of the Winter Solstice at Smokey House Center. Families are invited to gather for a cozy reading of The Night Tree by Eve Bunting around a campfire, followed by hands-on crafting of woodland ornaments and natural decorations.

We’ll end the day with an easy hike to decorate a special solstice tree for the birds and wildlife on the Smokey House landscape for a moment in honoring the season, the land, and the creatures we share it with.

This event is free, and small snacks will be provided. Children must attend with a caring adult. Registration is required.
