Have you struggled to set healthy boundaries with a loved one in recovery? Do you find it difficult to communicate your feelings? If so, you’re not alone—many family members face similar challenges when navigating the complexities of addiction. Coping with a loved one’s substance use disorder can be overwhelming, but there are ways to foster resilience and healing. Join us for this workshop, where we will provide practical strategies for effectively communicating your needs while maintaining healthy boundaries. You'll leave with a strong foundation and valuable resources to support your journey toward healing and empowerment.

Who Should Attend this Program?

Any family member or loved one, 18 years and older, who has been impacted by a loved one’s substance use will benefit from participating in this workshop.

Registration fee is $50/person. Fees include the cost of light refreshments and resources that will be provided to the participants on the day of the workshop.

Mallory Henry, BS, CPS
Director of Family Education, Caron Treatment Centers

Mallory serves as the Director of Family Education at Caron, where she leads the development and implementation of family education programs. With a deep commitment to Caron’s mission, Mallory ensures that family education aligns with evidence-based psycho-educational philosophies, empowering families to navigate behavioral health and substance use challenges.

In her role, Mallory provides strategic leadership, overseeing program development, fiscal management, and quality assurance. She collaborates with Caron’s leadership team to explore funding opportunities, supports grant proposals, and manages deliverables for existing and future initiatives. Passionate about expanding access to education, she works to enhance both in-person and virtual programs, tailoring them to the needs of family members.

A seasoned professional with extensive experience in behavioral health education, Mallory has been with Caron since 2012. She began her career in direct service within the Education Alliance and progressively advanced into leadership roles. Prior to her current position, she served as the Senior Coordinator of Student Assistance Programming, where she supervised educational specialists and facilitated training for schools and youth-serving organizations.

Mallory is a certified prevention specialist and a Pennsylvania-approved Student Assistance Program training provider. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Dedicated to prevention, education, and family support, she continues to develop impactful programs that provide families with the knowledge and resources to navigate substance use disorders.
