Mixed Ensembles for Lutes & Viols A workshop exploring 16th century polyphony

Paul O’Dette and Ronn McFarlane guide workshop participants in the intricacies of Renaissance music from France, Italy, and Germany. The event will feature popular works of the 1500s such as Adrian Willaert’s madrigal Madonna io non lo so, Giulio Segni da Modena’s Ricercar Quintus, and Bartolomeo Tromboncino’s Ave Maria, even traversing frottole from the court of Isabella d’Este of Mantua!
