From Awareness to Belonging: Stories of Disabilities

Everyone longs to belong — to be seen, valued, and included. Yet for many individuals and families affected by disability, that sense of belonging can feel just out of reach, whether in church, school, or community life.

This evening invites us to listen and learn from honest stories of individuals and families who have navigated those barriers in church communities — and to imagine what true belonging could look like for all of us. Whether you’re a parent, friend, teacher, advocate, or neighbor, this conversation opens the possibility of creating deeper welcome wherever we find ourselves.

Childcare will be provided, and dinner will be served by the AcessAbility Team at Highrock Church. Contributions towards the cost of dinner will be welcome through Venmo at the event.
