Even in strong and financially thriving communities, challenges often go unspoken — stress, health concerns, substance use, and strained relationships can affect anyone. This community conversation invites residents and partners to come together around a central question: What does true wellness look like in our community, and how can we get there together?

Held at Olympic Steak & Pizza in Arlington, TN, the event will bring together residents, subject matter experts, non-profit, faith, and government leaders to connect resources with the people who need them most.

Whether it’s supporting families under stress, reducing stigma around hidden struggles, or building stronger community connections, this space is designed for honest dialogue, collaboration, and action.

Across our neighborhoods, families are balancing the demands of financial security, health, and relationships, and many feel they don’t have space to talk about it openly. The Connector Program is a Shelby County Government initiative that helps bridge the gap between residents and the resources that support thriving communities. By creating spaces for connection, education, and action, the program works across all 13 County Commission districts to ensure every voice is heard and every neighborhood is seen.
