HikeLife Adventures takes you to Balandra Basin Waterfall. Nearby to Balandra Bay is Alcindor Trace. After parking vehicles, the trail begins with a downhill journey, over a couple hills then to the waterfall. The last downhill has ropes for support.
The basin is small but deep for swimming. This spot is great to relax as it is mainly shaded & only exposed to the overhead sun. An extra 10mins walk upriver reveals a 2nd larger pool.
After the hike, you can choose to enjoy the rest of your day at Balandra Bay, driver to Toco or make your way home.
