🌟 Introducing: THIRSTY FOR SCIENCE 🌟
Together with the Danish Cardiovascular Academy, we’re launching a new concept that brings cutting-edge medical science out of the hospital and straight into a relaxed pub atmosphere — and you’re invited! This edition will focus on research within cardiovascular research.
Join us for an evening where brilliant researchers present their work in short, engaging talks designed for everyone to understand. No heavy jargon, no stiff lecture halls — just inspiring science, good conversations, and you can purchase cold draft beer from tap all night🍺
🫱🏾🫲🏼 Why? Because the public helps fund scientific research — and we believe they deserve to share in the discoveries. And because bringing together exciting ideas from different medical specialties is one of the best ways to spark curiosity, inspire new perspectives, and maybe even foster unexpected collaborations.
🧠 What to expect: • 10-minute talks by passionate medical researchers • Easy-to-understand English • TED-talk vibes or classic slides — presenter’s choice • Audience questions and room for discussion • A fun, informal setting where everyone is welcome
