Jam circles are a fun part of the Lindy Hop community. Being it our celebrations of someone’s birthday with a jam circle or a late-night spontaneous jam circle at social dance. But it can be daunting to participate and confusing to understand the social cues that govern a jam circle.
This workshop is all about getting comfortable doing jam circles + spicing it up with some good intros and outros.
We will also dive into a fun variation of jam circles where you steal one of the two dancers in the middle. This is how a birthday jam works, and it is nice to learn some simple ways to take over.
My motivation: To give more Aarhus Lindy hop dancers the confidence to participate in birthday jams + make you ready for the Why Not parties 😊
The workshop is from 13-16. We will have a 15 min. break in the middle.
The location is Frederiksbjerg skole – 0 multisal (same location as level 1 classes).
The price is 50kr, that can be paid with mobilpay at the workshop.

If this is a popular idea, but many of you can’t participate due to the short deadline. I might be convinced to repeat it later in the autumn.
