Global Formel 1 Salsa i Bedste Form!
Vengan a gozar al ritmo /música de Cordero & Los Gran Daneses, el viernes 31 de octubre en el mejor sitio de la ciudad para conciertos. Les invitamos a Turkis, Vester Allé 5 – Aarhus C. Las puertas para el concierto se abren a las 20:00 horas. Jorge Cordero y su orquesta, cuyo nombre ya ha editado 11 albums y uno recién editado en agosto.
Meget få salsa orkestre i Europa tør kaste sig ud i åben konkurrence med cubanske og Puertoricanske bands. Jorge Cordero tager kampen op og får hjælp fra Cuba, Spanien og USA, når der skal arrangeres og indspilles ny musik. Sidste album blev arrangeret af bassisten fra los Van Van og perkussion delen blev indspillet i New York af de kendte brødre Quintero. Det nye album udgivet i august vil blive præsentereret ved denne lejlighed på Turkis.
Inden koncerten byder der på Introundervisning med Claus Overbæk fra Salsaboyz. Der bliver også plads til fælles dans. Intro’en går i gang kl. 20:30 – 21:15. På DJ pulten har vi El Radiógrafo.
Club Camaleón præsenterer Cordero & Los Gran Daneses fredag den 31. oktober, hvor der som vanlig spilles der formel 1 salsa. Det foregår på Turkis, Vester Allé 15 – 8000 Århus C. Det 8 mands store salsa orkester bestående af cubanske og danske musikere lover hardcore salsa og inciterende toner. Dørene til koncerten åbnes kl. 20:00.
Siden Jorge Cordero & LGD debuterede i Miami i 1992, har orkestret turneret rundt i verden og udgivet yderligere 8 albums, samt vundet 4 World Music Awards. I dag består orkestret at flere cubanske musikere og to danske perkussionister. Der er de færreste orkestre, der evner at fastholde succesen år efter år. Jorge Cordero mestrer denne kunst. Både på scenerne i Danmark og blandt salsa-folket i resten af Europa, nyder orkestret stor respekt pga. den høje musikalske kvalitet. I forbindelse med udgivelsen af det seneste album ”MI UNIVERSO” var flere sange fra Corderos tidligere udgivelser også kommet i rotation på radiostationerne i flere latinamerikanske lande og i Florida.

The new release contains 9 of the best songs since Jorge Cordero & Los Gran Daneses' debut album ROMPIENDO EL HIELO was released in New York by TTH Records in 1993.
The album is released on all digital platforms and on vinyl.
With ten albums, four international awards and concerts around the world, Jorge Cordero has become widely acknowledged as one of the finest performers of salsa music in Europe.
Jorge Cordero has been nominated for the Danish World Music Awards several times. The music of Jorge Cordero has been in the Latin Charts in USA, Colombia, Panama, Venezuela and Puerto Rico, and his band has toured internationally.
Ten albums, four international awards and numerous tours across the world have resulted in international recognition and have put Jorge Cordero on the world map of salsa.
The band consists of 10 top musicians from Denmark and Cuba. Jorge Cordero and his band have proven that they are in the absolute elite of international salsa - also because they are pushing the genre forward when combining Cuban Timba with New York salsa and spicing it up with elements from , pop and rock.
