Picnic programme:
14.00-17.00 Workshop
Here’s what you can choose to work on:
1) API workshop: APIs (application programming interfaces) allow networked applications to communicate. We’re going to make a simple app that uses an API to find data about the weather. (seems like a reasonable thing to do for a picnic). We’ll also look at the history of APIs and how they are shaping the internet.
2) HTML vibing: Some Code&Share members are still working on their personal sites. Bring your site/art and your HTML questions, so we can help each other figure things out.
3) Hanging: You can bring any kind of code project to work on, if you want – or you can just hang out in the sun and enjoy the snacks..
17.00-18.00 Break and dinner prep
18.00-… Dinner and drinks!
