Join us on a magical canoeing trip in one of Denmark’s most beautiful regions! 🛶
we will paddle to the famous “sky mountain” and enjoy one of the most scenic and idyllic parts of Denmark 🏞️
We will go together in a bus to the small town Ry, where will hop into a canoe and paddle our way via Gudenåen to Himmelbjerget. Here we will hike to the top of Denmark’s 2nd highest point (breathtaking 147 meters), where we will eat our lunch and enjoy the view 🏔️
After this we will canoe back to Ry, where the bus will take us home 🚌
We will paddle an approx. 4 hours in total, so you don’t need to be an elite athlete or paddler to join, but it will require a bit of arm strength 💪
Please note: If there is too much wind, we will go south instead and not go to Himmelbjerget, but find another nice spot for lunch 🧺
Programme
09:30: We meet at Studenterhus Aarhus and take off for Ry
10:30: We find our canoes, vests and get a quick introduction to paddling.
13:00: Arrival at the foot of Himmelbjerget, where we will climb to the top and enjoy our lunch.
15:00: We head back to Ry
17:30: We go back to Aarhus by bus.
