Beginners sewing workshop - Aarhus

We teach you everything you need to know so that you can make and create like a pro. And leave saying “I made that!”

Using the provided tools and equipment you’ll craft 2 bespoke items from sustainable fabrics and threads, whilst learning the art of mastering a sewing machine, creating a custom basic pattern, and essential tips for getting the most out of your new hobby.

All our workshops and classes are taught in English so you can relax and learn.

We start off by putting on your work apron and reviewing the project, reviewing the materials and handling instructions, followed by an introduction to the tools and equipment, before diving into your class of choice. We go at your own pace so no rush!

You’ll be guided in this 3-hour beginner’s introduction to identifying fabrics, how to create a pattern from basic numbers/measurements, how to care for and handle a sewing machine, how to sew several stitches, and even more impressive in a straight line! and so much more.

You’ll walk away feeling empowered with textile and machine knowledge and a new skill.
