Summer Hike and Splash at Lake Murray

Please join us on Sunday, Aug 17th for a hike and a swim at Lake Murray State Park! We will meet there in the parking lot at 8:30 AM (leaving from Norman around 7:00- it's about an hour and a half south of here). We'll be hiking 3.5 miles to Tucker Tower and the nature center for a cool off and a snack. Then after a hike back to the cars, we'll drive to the lake for a picnic, a swim, and some forest bathing, which is a simple practice of being calm and quiet in nature. The hike is mostly flat, with some uphill to get to the tower. And if we are ready for some quietude on the way back to the cars, we can practice some forest bathing then too.
