Brainy Blockcoders & Biochemists: Careers of Technology and Research

We invite students in grades 7-10 to join us for a 4-hour, in-person career camp. This camp will focus on careers involving tech and data.

(For Students In Grades 7-10 - Open to public, private, and homeschooled students)

"Brainy Blockcoders & Biochemists: Careers of Technology and Research" is the 2nd of three in-person career camp opportunities offered by North Star Learning. Your student can choose to attend any/all of the three camp offerings.

This camp presents a unique opportunity for adolescents to explore careers in the core fields of Information Technology, STEM, higher education and private research pathways. Students will gain real-world insight about the hard and soft skills needed for success in the world of work. This four-hour career camp includes three hours of innovative career-specific learning tasks, partnered with one hour of a highly engaging, collaborative team building experience (soft skill development) using video games like Minecraft or Rocket League (led by the amazing team at XP League Asheville). Join the North Star Learning LLC team at the offices of XP League Asheville for a fun and informative Career Camp where you can learn about different paths you can take to make a difference in the world. (IMPORTANT NOTE - For this Career Camp, NSL is absorbing all Eventbrite "add on" payment fees, meaning you will not be charged fees at checkout.
