Robert Gonzalez, Chris Alvarez, and I are excited to announce the details of the upcoming 2025-26 league season!
As you are probably aware, the Lucky Bowler Scratch Challenge league is moving to Country Club Lanes on Monday nights and merging with the Lucky Bowler Classic Scratch league to form a new 32 team scratch league!
Here are some of the highlights:
- The new league will be called the "Lucky Bowler High Roller". We are still waiting for Facebook to approve the name change request our page name here.
- 32 team scratch league, 4 person teams formed by a league draft
- Estimated $150,000 prize fund with a $20,000 guaranteed 1st place prize
- 28 week regular season with a balanced schedule for each team
- Teams will be divided into 8 divisions or 4 teams each within 2 conferences
- Team standings will be based on cumulative points for the season
- Bowl on 4 different challenge-level oil patterns
- 24 teams will qualify for the playoffs
In addition, the league voted on the following dates:
- Friday, July 4th, - 11:59pm – Deadline to accept captaincy
- Friday, July 4th, - 11:59pm – Deadline to declare a franchise player
- Monday, August 25th – 6:30pm – Draft Sweeper Showcase
- Tuesday, August 26th – 11:59pm – Deadline to signup for League Draft
- Wednesday, August 27th, - 6:30pm – League Draft (Captains/Officers in attendance only)
- Monday, September 8th – 6:30pm – Oil Pattern Test/League Meeting
- Monday, September 15th – 6:45pm – Week 1 of bowling
