Warhammer 40K Escalation League
This is an event that is gonna be great for new and established players. The league will be starting in January so it’ll be perfect for those of you who may have gotten some Warhammer for Christmas!
We will be slowly start scaling the games up over time starting at 500 point games and moving up to 2000 points by the end of the league. Everyone will be able to play 2 games per point level, and we will have a month to get those 2 games scheduled with an opponent (highly recommend joining the Green Brothers discord). You cannot play the same person in consecutive games for it to count towards your league record/score. The league will end up being a total of 4 months by the end of it. Games can be played any day that the shop is open, but scores must be submitted on paper to the store and signed and dated by both players.
Entry fee will be $5 per game played in the league and pricing will be determined at the end of the league based upon how many entries we will have. Prizing will be store credit.
You will start with a 500 point list and that will be the initial core of your army. Once you submit a list then those models will be locked in for the duration of the league, and will be apart of your larger army lineup.
We will have some special rules for the smaller games.
500 points: only infantry and mounted models are allowed, and nothing over Toughness 9. Also no monsters or vehicles will be allowed at this level.
1000 points: vehicles and monsters will be allowed, but nothing over Toughness 9 at this level.
1500-2000 there are no restriction aside from the normal list building restrictions allowed.
We will be using the current 2025-26 chapter approved mission decks for missions and secondaries.
Make sure to have your codex or its equivalent for rules. (Physical codexes and data cards are gonna be out of date so please use your code in the back of the codex)
Models must by WYSYWIG. If you have any questions make sure you ask the TO of the event.
The way we will determine the rankings of the league will be based on wins and then points if we have any ties from there.
Remember that the league is supposed to be fun so make sure that you have good sportsmanship during your games.
