Annual Membership Meeting of Apollo Beach Garden Club

Annual membership meeting with guest speaker Meryl Stout from 15th Street Garden in St Pete and formerly of Coalition of Community Gardens.

This is the one and only MANDATORY of sorts meeting for all members of the Apollo Beach Garden Club because this is when we elect our board members and enact new bylaws via vote from our current members. We need all members to be present to cast their votes. By casting your votes you are literally shaping the future of our garden together and we need you.

New changes are on our horizon and we need you who care to vote on the garden you want to have and be part of.

If you haven't been part of a Parliamentary Procedure event before, google it and brush up so you can speak up.

Community Gardens are truly about the community and we truly live it as a democracy. Know how to weigh in, bring a concept to the floor for vote and create vital change that goes down in the records. This is one of those meetings where EVERYONE can do this and your voice matters! Do not miss it! Your vote MATTERS!

For those who don't already know bout our speaker Meryl, well she is one amazing lady. She previously led the Coalition of Community Gardens and is now a vital part of The 15th Street Garden in St. Pete, excited to share her wisdom with us. She will be there to witness how we function and operate as a cohesive unit at our annual meeting and then take us through amazing opportunities to team build so we can grow even better together.
