Unleash your creativity and learn the rewarding, hands on skill of making Beef Tallow!
Join us at Appleberry’s Attic Craft Studio for a hands-on class where you’ll learn the art of rendering Animal Fats and whipping your own beef tallow balm! This timeless skill is making a comeback, and now’s your chance to see why.
In this class, you’ll:
• Learn about tallow and participate in the rendering process by chopping up beef suet.
• Discuss Formula and render high-quality beef fat into pure, nourishing tallow.
• Whip it to a light, creamy consistency.
• Scent it with your choice of essential oil blends! Choose from:
Lavender, Rosemary, Spearmint, Lemongrass, Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree & Geranium
Each participant will take home two 2-ounce jars of their own handcrafted, all-natural whipped tallow—perfect for skincare, healing balms, or a thoughtful handmade gift.
We are so excited to be partnering with Rob & Samantha from Tillering Farm for this class! Samantha and her family love farm life! They provide heritage pork, grass fed beef and tallow skincare products direct to consumers! They find joy in being good stewards of their land and taking pride in implementing farm practices that are both creative and intelligent!
Their tallow is traditional and time tested. It is nutrient rich and chemical free, plus it has many benefits of being healing and hydrating to all types of skin! *I’ve personally been using it for 4 months and LOVE it! I apply both morning and evening and have noticed my skin is more hydrated, plump, soft and less uneven in color and tone.
We think you’ll love this product as much as we do! Plus learning a new skill and working with our hands is a God given talent we all should enjoy! So come… learn with us! We can’t wait to connect and create with all of you!
Registration closes Tuesday, May 27th at 8:00 pm so be sure to sign up today as tickets are limited!
