What’s the Story: Way of the Samurai with Blades in Motion Katana Demonstration

Experience Way of the Samurai before it’s gone and delve deeper into this elite warrior class from feudal Japan! Join our Educational Interpreters for interactive activities and stories in the temporary gallery anytime between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

To start this program off we will have a demonstration of creativity and skill in extreme martial arts by local teen, Hannah Oehrig. Watch as she wields katanas with precision, power, and artistry in a display that fuses traditional techniques with modern flair.

What’s the Story is included with museum admission and free for AM&G members.
