Moonshine Lunch Run 2025

Been to the middle of nowhere?
Ever have a Moonburger?
Have you ever heard of the Moonshine Lunch Run?

Well back before FB was so popular the STowners group used to host a springtime RTE at the Moonshine Store in, yes you guessed it Moonshine Illinois. Sadly, the host of that event passed away after just a few years of hosting it. The tradition was kept alive for a few years after Terry's passing, but I don't think it continued on.

I never made it to the original Moonshine Lunch Run, but I did take my kids here on a cross-country RV trip back about 12 years ago.

I think it's time I stop by again and have another burger!
This will be a stop on my journey back from Alaska in August of 2025. Would anyone like to join me for a burger?

If so I should be here by 11am on Saturday 8/23/2025. The doors close and lock at 12:30. If you are not inside by then you lose out on getting a moonburger. So plan accordingly!

After lunch I will continue my journey towards home, people are welcomed to join me for this.
