Mr. B’s B10 Band

Mr. B is Ann Arbor-based jazz, blues, and boogie-woogie pianist Mark Lincoln Braun, founder of Mr. B’s Joybox Express, a 501c3 organization that raises funds for children’s arts and athletic programs through musical events. Braun learned his craft first-hand from blues and boogie legends like Little Brother Montgomery, Boogie Woogie Red, and Blind John Davis. Now a premier purveyor of a vanishing art, Mr. B plays with heart and conviction. He has performed coast to coast and throughout the world, while in Ann Arbor he is also the organizer of the annual Mr. Bʼs Blues and Boogie Piano Celebration that attracts major figures in the blues and jazz piano world. Now he has formed the B10 Band with some of the finest jazz musicians in Southeast Michigan, including members of the Stevie Wonder Band and Bob Seger’s Silver Bullet Band, specifically to play his original compositions.
