Maker Works’ staff and members will be on hand to demo equipment, tour the shop, and answer questions. We have recently onboarded a number of exciting new machines (Bambu X1 Carbon, xTool F1 Ultra, Bernina Q20 Longarm), just released our Fall Calendar, and will be sharing our exciting vision for the year 2030!
This is a partner event of a2Tech360, a series of events celebrating Ann Arbor’s spirit of innovation.
Small Business and Entrepreneurs: Find out how Maker Works can save you time, space, and money through shared access to tools, training, and workspace. We helped startups prototype quickly, and make it easier for larger businesses to augment their existing infrastructure (or provide some amazing staff perks!)
Artists and Hobbyists: Discover how our equipment and workshops can help you create more, explore new techniques, and connect with others who share your interests. Whether you’re brand new to using tools, or an experienced user, an amazing community of curious, supportive makers are here to help expand your knowledge, methods, and work.
Students and Educators: Learn how Maker Works supports hands-on learning, FIRST Teams, STEAM education, and project-based exploration for educators and teens ages 13+. Over the years we’ve supported hundreds of students, teachers, and mentors. With support from both the Kiwanis Club Foundation and the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor, we’re able to keep it very accessible.
