Many people believe they can’t meditate: “My mind is too busy,” “I can’t sit still,” or “I’m just not the type.” These are understandable concerns, especially in a society that values action and quick sound bites, and that rarely invites us to pause. But meditation isn’t about achieving perfect stillness or silencing every thought. It’s about meeting yourself where you are, with curiosity and compassion. This class offers a gentle entry point for anyone who’s ever felt unsure, impatient, or intimidated by the idea of meditation.
Meditation offers more than just a moment of calm—it’s a pathway to greater clarity, attentional stability, and inner connection. Regular practice can reduce stress, enhance focus, deepen compassion, and help us navigate life’s complexities with greater ease. Introduction to Meditation is a gentle, experiential class designed to introduce participants to a variety of meditation styles, allowing each person to discover what resonates most deeply with their own inner wisdom.
