When God Is Late Sermon Series

Waiting is never easy—especially when it feels like God is late. We live in the tension between what God has promised and when those promises will be fulfilled. Yet the Christmas story reminds us that God’s timing is rarely our timing, and still, He is unfailingly faithful.

In When God Is Late, we’ll explore how God’s promised reign is coming and how we are invited to prepare, even when nothing seems to be happening. We’ll discover that while we wait, God is working behind the scenes—healing, delivering, guiding, and bringing hope in ways we cannot always see. Jesus is God’s salvation plan for the world, and His arrival invites a response from us: trust, readiness, and courage to follow where His light leads.

This Advent season, we remember that God keeps His promises, even in seasons of doubt and uncertainty. And often, the moments that feel like delays are the very spaces where God shapes us for extraordinary purpose.
