High atop Blue Mountain, along the Appalachian trail sits a cozy gathering spot for spirited locals and refuge for weary travelers. The Thunderhead Lodge, stands as a vortex of energy where the veil is thin and worlds collide.
Owners Steve & Meredith Prange welcome Black Rock Events and your hosts for the evening, Leah McKain and Amy Dee, in an evening of paranormal investigation that takes you into the depths of Thunderhead Lodge. Begin your evening tales of the land during a cocktail hour in which you will become familiar with the history of Thunderhead Lodge and the equipment you will be using throughout the evening. You will then be broken into smaller groups where you will be guided into various, private areas of Thunderhead only open to staff and family. There you will use professional equipment to conduct your own guided investigations and meet the eternal residents of Thunderhead Lodge.
Tickets are required and include one drink ticket for a cocktail or mocktail of your choice, refreshments served during the cocktail hour, backstories of Thunderhead and surrounding area, instruction and use of professional equipment during the investigation with guidance from seasoned, professional investigators.
Cocktail hour begins 9:30pm
Investigation 10:15pm- 12am
Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes.
Welcome but not required:
Flashlights, recorders, personal investigation equipment
Please note that this investigation includes private areas not open to the public and explores the depths underneath the Lodge. It does require the climbing of stairs and brief stooping which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
