ARTful Andover Art Walk

The Town of Andover Planning Department in conjunction with a volunteer planning committee of local Andover area artists announce a new event "ARTful Andover" Art Walk. The town is partnering with local retail businesses on and around Main Street to support highlighting local artists and their work. Under the umbrella of the new arts & culture event series "ARTful Andover", participating businesses are inviting the community and visitors alike to stroll down the ARTful Andover Art Walk and to enjoy the original works of numerous local artists while browsing and shopping in their retail stores. This month-long family friendly event will raise visibility and accessibility of locally made original art while also enhancing local businesses. The event will kick off on Saturday, October 4 from 10 AM - 2 PM with a variety of community art making activities in and around downtown Andover. The Art Walk portion will kick off that day and run through Friday, October 31st.

ARTful Andover is a community-wide event where local artists partner with local business to introduce their products to new customers. There will be an initial kickoff and other activities to promote Artful Andover in downtown including art demonstrations and art-making activities for families and friends.

Each artist will display their work in the business partner’s space during October. Throughout this time, ARTful Andover will be promoted to the community by the town, participating artists and partnering businesses, drawing attention to Andover’s commitment to the Arts and our artists, as well as introducing new customers to participating businesses. The community will be encouraged to visit participating businesses and “meet the artist” events will be planned.
