Broommaking Class with Aviary Broom Co.

🍂 Make your own broom just in time for fall!

On Sunday, September 14th from 1:00–2:30pm, join us at the Museum of Appalachia for a beginner-friendly (ages 13+) broom making class led by Amelia Galvas, owner of Aviary Broom Co.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the timeless craft of broom making and create two unique pieces to take home:
- A one-of-a-kind hand whisk
- A whimsical cake tester
