Program: On November 4, a referendum will be held in Anderson County to determine if a one percent Capital Projects Sales Tax shall be implemented to repair specific roads and bridges across Anderson County. Councilman Sullivan’s presentation will discuss the poor condition of our roads and bridges, why a Capital Projects Sales Tax was selected as the best means of addressing that poor condition, and the stringent requirements in state law regarding the implementation of the tax and reporting once it is implemented.
