Madison County Women's Republican Breakfast Club
Join the Madison County Women's Republican Club for our September Breakfast Club meeting! We're excited to be joined by author and speaker, Ericka Andersen at Millcreek Civic Center in Chesterfield, Indiana on Friday, Sept. 12 at 8 a.m.

She is the author of the 2018 Thomas Nelson release "Leaving Cloud 9: The True Story of a Life Resurrected From the Ashes of Poverty, Trauma and Mental Illness." She wrote "Reason to Return: Why Women Need the Church and the Church Needs Women," in 2023. Her third book, "Freely Sober: Rethinking Alcohol Through the Lens of Faith," will release in January 2026.

Tickets for Women's Club members are $15, and nonmembers are $20. You can pay with cash or check at the door, pay on our Venmo account (@madco-wrc-48).

About Ericka Andersen:
Ericka Andersen is a freelance content writer, digital strategist and journalist focusing on issues of faith, community, policy, politics, addiction, child welfare, life issues and more. She has been published in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Christianity Today, the New York Post, the Washington Examiner and more.

She hosts the podcast, "Worth Your Time," featuring interviews with inspiring women of faith doing bold things in the world.

As the Digital Director at National Review, she created online strategy, content promotion campaigns, social media management and more. She was also a frequent writing contributor to the National Review home page.

As the Manager of Digital Strategy at the Heritage Foundation and The Daily Signal, she managed and supervised all digital and social media platforms, wrote for DailySignal.com and devised communications strategy for the organization as a whole. She also wrote op/ed pieces for the Daily Signal.

Formerly, she was the Communications Director for Representative Todd Rokita (IN-4). This position included communications strategy, speech writing, press coordination and media prep. She was involved in all decisions regarding our direction, image, media and goals.

She previously served as the Director of Online Media Outreach for the House Republican Conference, under Congressman Mike Pence (IN). There, she specialized in blogger relations as a resource to national and local bloggers and online personalities. She operated the new media aspects of the House Republican Conference, including blogging, Twitter, Facebook, etc. she consulted regularly with GOP Congressional offices.
