Event Description: Wilderness First Aid Course – Hosted by Alaska Avalanche School
Join the Alaska Avalanche School for a Wilderness First Aid course on October 4–5, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Alaska Pacific University (APU) in Anchorage. This hands-on, 2-day course is designed for anyone who spends time in remote environments—from recreational adventurers to professional guides. Learn essential first aid skills tailored to wilderness settings, including patient assessment, evacuation strategies, and treatment techniques for common outdoor injuries.
