Reformation Sunday Service

Join us for Reformation Service! PLEASE NOTE TIME SERVICE CHANGE TO AN EARLY SERVICE. This will allow plenty of time for those who also wish to attend the WELS Reformation Joint Service at 11 a.m. at Clark Middle School.

On Oct. 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted 95 Theses to the church door in a small city called Wittenberg, Germany, disputing the practice of selling Indulgences. From that event sprang the Protestant Reformation, and the church officially commemorates this important anniversary on Oct. 31. The Sunday closest to it is known as Reformation Sunday.
