The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) has been at the forefront of public policy research in Alaska for more than sixty years. ISER’s multidisciplinary staff studies many of the major public policy issues facing Alaska. That work helps Alaskans better understand the state’s changing economy, population, and infrastructure, and the challenges and opportunities that come with change. Diane Hirshberg, ISER Director, will give an update on ISER's team and some of the work of greatest relevance to the business community in Alaska.
