About the Instructor
Richard “Fergie” Fergola is a seasoned pitmaster, competition champion, and barbecue educator. Since 2012 his team, Fergolicious BBQ, has become one of the most recognized names in competitive barbecue. With over 225 barbecue competitions under his belt, he has claimed more than 40 Grand and Reserve Grand Championships, including two World Championship titles in 2021 and 2025.
