Come and join us for conversation with local longtime Anchorage resident, Richard Watts, and Alaska Commission for Human Rights Attorney, Alex Roider. Learn about Richard and his family history in Anchorage, the founding of the NAACP branch in Anchorage, the Gambell Carrs’s Protest in 1962, Richard’s experience working at the Gambell Carrs, and the passing of the Alaska Human Rights Act.
