Bloch: Avodath Hakodesh (Sacred Service)

The Only major oratorio in Hebrew, Ernest Bloch's luminous and dramatic “Sacred Service” is widely regarded as one of the greatest choral masterpieces of the 20th century. The program will also include a selection of Psalm settings, concluding with the exuberant first movement of Bernstein's “Chichester Psalms.” Featuring world-class guest artists Richard Zeller, baritone, and Douglas Schneider, organ.
