FONSS board member Ivan Hodes will be the Cook Inlet Historical Society's guest speaker Oct. 16, discussing Alaska's (surprisingly important!) role in the events of, and resolution to, the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962.
The free event, part of CIHS's fall lecture series, will be in person at the Anchorage Museum and will also be live-streamed.
