⚠️ Why Attend
A staggering 75% of Alaskans have experienced—or know someone who has experienced—domestic violence or sexual assault. Alaska’s rate of child mistreatment is 69.3% above the national average; elder physical abuse is 2.4× higher, and elder psychological abuse is 1.6× higher. An assault occurs in Alaska every hour.
Many Alaska communities lack the capacity to collect essential medical evidence—putting survivors at risk. ACFTA provides trauma-informed, evidence-driven training to fill this gap.
