Sounds & Sweets 2026: Anamosa Idol Takes the Stage!
The Anamosa Music Boosters (AMB) are thrilled to present an evening of student talent and community spirit, featuring live performances and a dessert auction you won't want to miss!
Sounds & Sweets Presents: "Anamosa Idol" will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ellen Kennedy Fine Arts Center. Enjoy traditional favorites along with exciting additions, including the jazz band, Sadie Street Singers, and outstanding individual performers. The evening will also feature a lively on-stage dessert auction, an off-stage silent dessert auction, and student emcees. Live streaming will be available for those who wish to join from home.
This event is a major fundraiser for the Music Boosters, with a goal of raising $10,000 to support student participation in fine arts programs throughout the year. A freewill offering will be accepted at the door. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a contribution to the high school office marked "Anamosa Music Boosters."
Shout-outs ($2) and flowers ($3) for performers will also be available for purchase during the evening.
Sounds & Sweets is our annual opportunity to celebrate the incredible talents of our students while enjoying a fun and memorable night together as a community. The Music Boosters sincerely appreciate your continued support of fine arts programming in Anamosa schools.
