📚 Mt. Erie PTA Fall Scholastic Book Fair
Book Fair week is coming!
DETAILS:
Join us Oct. 13, through 17, in the Mt. Erie library for our Fall Scholastic Book Fair. It’s one of our favorite traditions—a week full of books, community and support for our school!
HOURS:
📘 Monday, Oct. 13: after school until 5 p.m.
📗 Tuesday, Oct. 14: after school until 4 p.m.
📙 Wednesday, Oct. 15: after school until 4 p.m.
📕 Thursday, Oct. 16: after school until 7 p.m.
📓 Friday, Oct. 17: after school until 2 p.m.
WHY IT MATTERS:
Every purchase supports our school!
HOW IT WORKS:
On Friday, Oct. 10, PTA volunteers will set up the Book Fair in the library.
Starting Monday, Oct. 13, kids and families can shop after school during the hours above.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND AT THE FAIR:
- A wide selection of books curated for elementary school students.
- Exclusive paperbacks, markdowns and the Share the Fairâ„¢ giving program, which helps provide books for every Mt. Erie student.

- Mt. Erie teacher book bins - Look for these bins near the register. Teachers will add books to it throughout the week. You can choose one to buy and then let your student sign the inside cover with a note.

*ProTip from one of our veteran PTA members: Ask Grandparents and other family members to contribute to student's eWallets for birthdays and holidays!
WHAT WE RAISE:
A portion of every sale, in person or online, comes back to Mt. Erie. Each year, PTA members vote whether to take earnings as cash or stretch them farther with Scholastic Dollars.
In Scholastic Dollars we can earn:
- 30% back for sales up to $1,599.
- 40% back for $1,600–$3,799.
- 50% back for $3,800 and up
Or we can choose cash instead at 25% of our purchases if we sell the highest level of merchandise. If we choose Scholastic Dollars it our teachers and staff can buy books, STEM activities and even furniture and digital resources for Mt. Erie through Scholastic.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
This week is packed with parent-teacher conferences, Walk and Wheel and Harvest Festival - but the Book Fair happens because of volunteers. If you can spare an hour or two, please sign up:
