Freddy Fungus and Alice Algae took a lichen’ to each other, and maybe you know the rest? Join Friends of the ACFL in an exploration of the weird and wonderful world of lichen! From their strange evolutionary origins to their role as indicator species, there’s a lot to love about our local lichen communities.
Note: Some of the trails around Little Cranberry Lake are steep and can be slick after a rain. You may wish to bring hiking poles for this hike.
