The Mohawk Valley Nurses Association (MVNA) will be holding its quarterly dinner meeting on Wednesday, September 24th at St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam. Featured speaker will be David Fariello, RN speaking about workplace violence…. Looking at trends, causes and how to stay safe.
The program will be held at St. Mary’s Hospital (Cafeteria Annex), 425 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY, 12010. The event begins at 5:30 pm, dinner at 6 pm, presentation at 7 pm, followed by a Q & A period.
The MVNA is a professional organization serving nurses in Fulton, Montgomery and Schenectady Counties. It’s purpose is to foster higher standards of nursing practice, promote the professional and educational advancement of nurses and promote the health and welfare of its nurses, in order to enhance nursing care. Attendees will be able to join or renew their membership ($20) that evening, however the program is open to all registered nurses (RNs, NP’s), as well as LPN’s, nursing students and other interested persons, whether they belong to MVNA or not.
