Join Seed + Root for a magical Autumn celebration and lantern walk.
Say goodbye to Autumn with stories, crafts, and the warm glow of firelight — a seasonal forest school gathering for little ones and grown-ups alike.
✨ What we’ll do:
Gather round the fire for pumpkin soup, bread dampers, and warm spiced apple juice.
Make leafy crowns and tiny clay guardians to watch over the forest as it enters hibernation.
Make a little bit of magic in the mud kitchen.
Save seeds from pumpkins to plant next year.
Craft glowing lanterns to guide the way on our woodland walk.
Share a special circle of thanks and wishes for the season.
🥾 Bring along:
Warm layers, waterproofs, and wellies
Curiosity, wonder, and a sense of magic ✨️
🎃 We will also have a pumpkin drop off station, so if you have any old pumpkins, bring them along to be composted!
Recommended age for activities: 4-12 but all are welcome.
Please note: We will use electronic candles in our lanterns for the lantern walk. We will be walking to the forest which is approximately a 10 minute uphill walk.
