Tomato Takeover with Oakshire Farm

Join us to celebrate summer's end with a tribute to the humble but heavenly heirloom tomato! Oakshire Farm (our Franklin Creek neighbors) will be onsite at the tasting room cooking up tomato-themed plates with ingredients sourced from their farm and local producers.

On the menu:
--BLTs with Oakshire Bacon. Pastured bacon and garden tomatoes make for the best BLT you've had!
--Insalata Caprese. Tomato's best friends basil and mozzarella, balsamic reduction.
--Classic Gazpacho. Chilled, refreshing, perfect to bid summer farewell.

More about Oakshire Farm: A regenerative family farm raising pastured pork, vegetables and preserves. You may have spotted the pigs grazing in their paddocks along Franklin Creek Rd as you drive up to the vineyard! Oakshire also operates a microbakery which produces seasonal scones and biscuits made with local grains. Find them at the Nellysford Farmer's Market in Nelson County with fresh breakfast sandwiches every Saturday!
